Come join our team in Blacktown as a Family Practitioner and keep families together and prevent children from entering Out of Home Care.The purpose of the Family Practitioner is to provide intensive therapeutic services to children, young people and their families with serious and / or complex mental health, behavioral and / or emotional needs to maximize their developmental potential. You will deliver the evidence-based model for families of children aged 0-17 years within the family's home environment.

As a Family Practitioner, you will be delivering Functional Family Therapy working with young people aged between 0-17 and their families in their homes
Who we are looking for :
Tertiary qualification in Counselling, Social Work, Family Therapy, Psychology or community services / mental healthPrevious experience in a therapeutic environment, or a new graduate with a willingness to learn and thrive in this roleKnowledge & experience working within the out-of-home care sector would be highly regardedExcellent communication skills & the ability to build relationships and rapport with families and young peopleFor more details in relation to this role please see the position description attached
