Recycling Center Attendant

Founded in 1972, TOMRA is the inventor of and world leader in reverse vending systems. The cloud-connected and digitally-enabled reverse vending machines (RVM) facilitate collection of over 40 billion empty drink containers worldwide every year and, in return, provide a monetary reward for each one. It's part of a continuous recycling process TOMRA call Clean Loop Recycling that ensures fewer resources are used, less energy is wasted, and containers have the best chance of being turned back into containers again - time after time.

• Opportunity and Responsibilities

As a Depot Operator, you will be responsible for the day to day operations of our recycling depots. Duties will include but not limited to the following :

• Liaise with customers
• Regularly clean and maintain RVMs and good presentation of the depot
• Troubleshoot with Technician on RVM issues
• Monitor and replace back of house bins / bags full of processed containers
• Prepare manifest for container pickup
• Compliance with TOMRA SAFE Standards and Guidelines
• Work between Forestdale and Kelmscott Depots
• Please note
• There will be a high level of physical work involved in this role, you may be required to work in adjacent locations in the Perth Metro area and available to work on weekends.
• About You
• Previous retail or warehouse experience desirable but not essential
• Customer focused and experienced with handling customer complaints
• Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
• Excellent attention to detail and strong time management skills
• A strong drive for personal achievement and success
• Prepared to undergo mandatory Police Check, Psychometric testing and a Pre-employment Medical assessment to assess capability to perform the role requirements safely
