The Infrastructure Directorate is the City of Stirling's largest and most diverse Directorate, managing many of the City's important assets and services while delivering a multi-million-dollar portfolio of projects.
This Directorate is responsible for the ongoing delivery of the City's sustainability program, as well as contributing heavily to the City of Stirling's vibrant local economy, liveable neighbourhoods and thriving communities.
The Recycling Centre Attendant is a multi-skilled role with a focus on working within the weighbridge using a sales system (including cash handling), directing customers to the correct disposal points, inspecting vehicles and trailers and maintaining a clean and safe environment for colleagues and customers alike.
The successful applicants are required to work a 9-day fortnight, including every other weekend on a rostered basis.
The Recycling Centre at Balcatta operates seven (7) days a week, allowing City residents and commercial customers to safely dispose of a variety of materials at their convenience. As part of the Waste team, our Recycling Centre Attendants also provide relief for and assistance to other team members, including household hazardous waste.

This permanent full-time position is a Level 5 Outside Workforce Agreement positions which attract a salary from $70,970 gross per annum plus superannuation.
