We are looking for experienced chefs and cooks for our client in
Mount Isa, QLD. The positions are full time, $70k-$80K a year salary + Super depending on the experience and the position.
In this hands on roles, the chosen candidates must :
- Ensure food preparation and quality is of the highest standard possible
- Manage stock levels and follow company procedures and recipe guide lines
- Ensure hygiene is maintained to the required standards
- Maintain a clean and organised kitchen during and after service
- Assist the head chef in cost control and assist in ensuring budgeted profit and targets are met
- Able to work unsupervised and harmoniously with the rest of the brigade
To be successful for this role you will possess the following :
At least 1-Year of relevant employment experience is requiredin prep and a la carte essential (Lunch & Dinner)
Appropriate trade qualificationsExperience in fast paced, service and quality focused venuesGuest orientated and passionate about foodSound knowledge of food hygiene practicesThe ability to work well under pressure with an eye for detailExcellent interpersonal skills, relatively good English communication skillsHappy to work split shiftsPossess a positive attitude and work well as a part of the teamIf you are qualified and interested in the position please apply ASAP.
