Power Bi Support Officer - 12 Month Contract

A large government agency is seeking a

• Power BI Support Officer
• for a
• 12 month contract
• The Power BI Support Officer will be focused on
• contributing to the day-to-day administration of Power BI services
• Key Responsbilities
• Support Power BI end users.
• Communicate release and update of features to end users and other service stakeholders.
• Document processes, procedures, and knowledge articles related to the Power BI service.
• Manage user permission and grant access in accordance with business rules.
• Diagnose, triage, and resolve Power BI related issues.
• Actively participate in the maintenance and management of Power BI platform tenancies and environments.
• Liaise with technical areas and project teams to collaboratively deliver outcomes.
• Essential Requirements
• Technical knowledge and experience in the administration and development of Power BI Services in an enterprise environment.
• Demonstrated experience in leveraging Power BI to develop data visualisation and reporting solutions, including design, and support of SQL-based data integrations / transformations.
• Demonstrated experience or aptitude necessary to manage workspaces, datasets, and gateway connections on Power BI.
• Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills suitable to anticipate and resolve incidents and problems related to Power BI solutions and data sources.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Highly Desired
• Tertiary qualifications in Information Technology or a related field.
• Possessing an Infrastructure Technology Information Library (ITIL) Foundation Certificate or experience working in an ITIL environment.
• Experience working in a service desk or end-user support role.
