Working within a Supported Living environment, you will manage a team of Disability Support Workers and support people with disabilities, to enable access to a quality life with dignity, respect, and social inclusion.
As the House Team Leader, you will focus on developing and maintaining quality support, creating outcomes, and increasing client skills, providing a safe and welcoming home for our participants.
You will have exceptional leadership skills and ability to bring out the best professional qualities within your team to ensure exceptional service delivery.
As first point of contact for the house and its management, you will have demonstrable skills in building and maintaining strong stakeholder relationships.
ABOUT YOUYou will have a professional background in delivering quality service to people with disabilities and possess previous experience supporting people with complex needs and / or behaviour support.Demonstrate well-developed leadership skills with the capacity to build a professional team.Emotional resilience and a fun attitude.Possess exceptional communication and stakeholder relationship building skills.Have proven time management skills and the ability to manage conflicting priorities.Knowledge of complex conditions that impact on disability and the capacity to remain up to date with related developments.An Advanced Diploma Disability Work or Community Sector ManagementCert IV Mental Health (Minimum)Current Victorian Driver's LicenceCurrent First Aid Certificate with CPRCurrent NDIS Worker Screening ClearanceFlexibility in the hours you work each week, including weekends.Experience in personal care.The capacity to meet the physical requirements of the job that may include manual handling tasksA confirmation record of COVID-19 vaccination (doses 1, 2 and booster)Job TypesPart-time, CasualPart-time hours : 38 per week
