Grounds Person- Gardener

For those who love working outdoors a position is available at a residential acreage property located in the Illawarra.

You will be required to undertake a wide variety of gardening and property maintenance related tasks, you will be responsible for the general upkeep of the lawns and gardens around the private residence, pool area and surrounding grounds / paddocks.

Gardening experience and general property maintenance skills are essential to be considered for this role.

All tools and equipment are provided and stored onsite.

• Duties and Responsibilities
• Mowing and edging of lawns around residence and surrounding paddocks.
• Trimming of hedges, pruning, mulching and general upkeep of gardens around the property.
• Weed management around the property.
• General maintenance / cleaning around property and buildings.
• Upkeep / cleaning of tools, equipment and machinery.
• Pool cleaning and basic maintenance.
• Skill and Experience
• Prior experience in similar role.
• Previous experience with ride on mowers.
• Proactive with the ability to prioritise jobs and set own schedule.

Wage rate will be determined by a combination of qualifications, knowledge and experience.

• Salary
• 55,000.00 - $63,000.00 per year

Schedule :

• 8 hour shift

• Wongawilli, NSW : Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
• Experience
• Gardening : 5 years (preferred)
