The role offers you the opportunity to contribute towards an extremely well structured and mature environment, working on sophisticated enhancement projects.Role : Network Solution ArchitectLocation : SydneyContract Duration : 6 Months with high possible extensionsExperience : 7+ YearsJob Description : Essential Requirements for Network Solution Architect (Hands On experience) : Extensive experience in enterprise network engineering and solution architecture, with a focus on hybrid cloud environments across AWS, on-premise, and partner networks.Proven expertise in AWS network architecture, including : VPC, Transit Gateway, PrivateLink, VPC Lattice, VPN, Direct Connect, and Route 53Designing secure and scalable multi-VPC and hybrid connectivity solutionsDemonstrated experience in hybrid network design, including : Integration with 3rd Party Gateways (e.g.

Telstra Cloud Gateway)Site-to-site IPSec VPNs, DMVPN, and secure routing between cloud and on-premDeep knowledge of network security architectures, including : Palo Alto firewalls (for perimeter security and traffic inspection)GlobalProtect VPN (for secure remote user access)Application of Zero Trust principles across hybrid environmentsExperience designing or integrating with non-cloud-native technologies commonly used in secure hybrid networks : Akamai (for CDN, WAF, and edge security)Zscaler (for SASE / Zero Trust secure access to applications)Dynatrace (for network observability, traffic flow monitoring, and latency analysis)NGINX (as reverse proxy / load balancer to manage ingress / egress and secure service access)Kong Gateway (as API gateway with traffic routing, rate limiting, and security enforcement at the edge)Keycloak (for federated identity, secure access control, and Zero Trust integration with network design)Strong understanding of : Routing protocols, segmentation, subnetting, firewall rules, and network telemetryDNS design, load balancing strategies, and traffic shaping techniquesDemonstrated ability to produce clear and comprehensive network architecture artefacts, including : High-level and low-level designs (HLDs / LLDs), security patterns, routing diagrams, and integration specificationsExperience leading or supporting large-scale network transformation programs, including : Migration from legacy infrastructure to cloud or hybrid modelsNetwork redesigns to support new security, scalability, or regulatory requirementsExcellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with a demonstrated ability to : Translate technical network concepts into business contextCollaborate with security, application, platform, and vendor teams in large enterprise settings.Contact : 61- for more details.Please note we will be able to contact only shortlisted candidates for this role.
