Hutcheon and Pearce are seeking an experienced Service Technician (Heavy Diesel Mechanic) to join our Penrith Branch. If you are passionate about agriculture and ready to make a difference, We would like to hear from you.
Position Overview
In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining John Deere equipment. From routine maintenance to complex repairs, you'll apply your expertise to ensure optimal performance and reliability for our customers.

Responsibilities Will Include (but Are Not Limited To)
Repairing, servicing and maintenance on John Deere machinery to meet the needs of our diverse customer baseDiagnosing and interpreting machine faults to get our customers back up and runningManaging and maintaining service records for machinery as requiredProviding technical advice and support to customers and other service technicians as required.
The Ideal Candidate
Relevant trade qualifications as a Light or Heavy Vehicle, Agricultural or Plant Mechanic (LV or Diesel Mechanic, Cert III)Current and valid driver's licenceHighly organised with great attention to detailSelf-motivated and ability to work independentlyStrong teamwork and communication skills
Desirable
Agricultural machinery servicing experience (John Deere preferred, other large brands highly advantageous)Mechanical, Electrical and Hydraulic experience is beneficialKnowledge of CANBUS systemsExcellent customer service skillsForklift licence
