Infrastructure Domain Program Architect

Are you a highly experienced ICT Solution Architect with a passion for driving architectural excellence across complex infrastructure programs? We're seeking a skilled and strategic professional to provide critical architectural leadership for multiple Infrastructure Domain Programs of Work.

Key Responsibilities :

Provide critical architectural leadership and support for multiple Infrastructure Domain Programs of Work.

Ensure the correct application of architecture principles, creating supporting architectures, solutions, patterns, standards, and practices.

Lead the planning, definition, and design of solutions, exploring alternatives while maintaining a big-picture perspective.

Identify and document architectural integrations and dependencies across sub-programs.

Facilitate architecture governance and compliance, ensuring project adherence.

Review and refine target-state reference architectures against enterprise technology strategies.

Collaborate with Business Technical Leaders to map out the Infrastructure Domains' one-to-three-year Technical Roadmap.

Contribute to architectural solution design for inter-program technology concerns.

Identify and resolve key inter-program architecture and business decisions.

Develop architectural solutions in line with Council ISB architecture standards.

Contribute to program management and delivery structure design.

Manage stakeholder engagement and secure approvals through governance processes.

Conduct reviews and verify vendor solution designs.

Act as a program-level point of contact for all architecture concerns.

Review new work packages for technical feasibility and scope alignment.

Mandatory Requirements :

Tertiary qualifications in Information Technology or a related discipline, or equivalent industry experience.

Demonstrated experience across various architecture disciplines, including cloud.

Familiarity with architectural frameworks (e.g., TOGAF).

Proven expertise in program-level technical planning and the creation of strategic and tactical Roadmaps.

Exposure to modern and emerging technologies, including AI, Zero Trust, IoT, and cloud platforms.

Proven expertise in applications, infrastructure architecture, security, networking, data, privacy, and security design literacy.

Strategic mindset with the ability to move fluidly between high-level architecture and detailed design.

A practical, principle-based approach to decision-making and problem-solving.

Required Skills and Experience :

Proven ability to lead architecture design across multiple Infrastructure programs.

Experience in driving the modernisation of legacy systems.

Demonstrated architectural leadership across programs.

A champion of best practices in ICT solution design.

Strategic thinker with strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
