Senior Infrastructure Specialist

Today, they employ over 2000 staff and are one of the largest manufacturers in Australia.

The Senior Infrastructure Specialist will act as a 2IC to the Infrastructure Manager providing strategy, planning and roadmaps for business ICT infrastructure. The ideal candidate will need to come from a hands on Cloud Engineering background with further skills and experience in delivering technology governance, risk management and compliance measures.

Role Functions :

• Technical Delivery
• Technical administration of both on premise server environment and cloud systems
• Producing and maintaining quality systems documentation
• Managing escalations of IT support issues
• Strategy and Planning
• Asist ICT Infrastructure management in the formulation of strategy, planning and budgeting processes
• Security, Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery Assist with the planning and execution of company security, business continuity and disaster recovery plans as required
• Staff and Contractor Management
• Coordinate ICT staff and contractors engaged in short to medium term projects
• Manage Vendor Relationships
• Maintain effective working relationships with employed hardware and software vendors
• Deliver ICT Governance
• System Integrity Assessments
• System Compliance
