About the role
An academic sessional makes a substantial contribution to the teaching program, particularly at the undergraduate level. The position requires preparation and coordination of tutorials and workshops, consultation with students, assessment marking and attendance at meetings as required by the Course Coordinator / Program Coordinator. The primary purpose of an academic sessional is to successfully run and manage their assigned tutorials or workshops within the discipline area.
The School seeks expressions of interest from experienced Academics or Clinicians who have a passion for teaching. Teaching opportunities are available on a sessional basis in the Bachelor of Exercise and Sport Science program.
We are looking for academic sessional staff with subject matter expertise in one or more of the following practice areas :
