• The Role
• This 2,570-hectare property is ideally located just off the Hume Highway at Mundarlo. Primarily focused on prime lamb production, they are currently running a flock of approx. 9000 self-replacing composite ewes turning lambs off a large area of lucerne pasture into the domestic trade, as well as 400 cows with steers going into the feeder market. This well-maintained property has an annual infrastructure budget for upgrading and improving assets that aim to keep the property running as smoothly and efficiently as possible. A pasture improvement and maintenance program aims to lift pasture quality year on year, to increase stocking rate and profitability which is measured using industry-leading benchmarking. We are now seeking a committed and hardworking station hand to join the established team in undertaking all day-to-day operations, including;
• Cattle and Sheep handling.
• Animal health management.
• Operation of farm machinery.
• General farm and property maintenance.

This role will require the use of working dogs and will see you handling livestock in a low-stress manner, with the use of side-by-sides for mustering. Your contributions will be highly valued, and you will be encouraged to be part of the team and community culture in this workplace.

This position comes with a private, 3-bedroom home with a fully fenced yard and a work vehicle will be provided for work purposes.
