Job descriptionClosing date Primary role Position type Location State About the Centre / Service Work Days of the Role Tuesday : 11.30am - 4.00pm - Wednesday : 11.30am - 4.00pm - Thursday : 8.30am - 1.30pm Hours of Work of the Role Description Due to a change in rostering, we have a part-time (lunch cover) Diploma (or certificate 3) Qualified educator role available : Tuesday : 11.30am - 4.00pm Wednesday : 11.30am - 4.00pm Thursday : 8.30am - 1.30pm Wanting reduced hours? Work shorter days and only a few days per week (you can work with an agency on the other 2 days!) Want a gradual return to the workforce? Join us as an educator and have the flexibility to cover teacher when requested! Studying and need a balance of working and educational time? Perfect work / study balance for a motivated individual. About You : You are Passionate about children and child safety Have at least 1 year of experience, preferably in a sessional kinder You are highly motivated and proactively contribute to the program and individual learning plans to ensure all children's needs are being met You are a flexible, open, trustworthy team player You are respectful and inclusive You have a sound understanding of the current regulations, standards, frameworks (VEYLDF & NQF) You work in a cooperative, flexible and professional manner with children, parents, staff, other professionals and the committee. Your able to think, plan and problem solve You thrive in a dynamic, ever-changing environment You agree with our child and family first philosophy VECTEA 2020 enterprise agreement. We operate under the 10 week leave model, so our staff are paid for, but do not work during the school holidays. What we Offer : Qualifications Hold an approved Diploma of Children's Services or Certificate 3 Hold a current Working with Children Check (or equivalent). In accordance with the Education and Care Services National Regulations and service policies, hold and maintain an approved : first aid qualification - emergency asthma management qualification - management of anaphylaxis qualification - Child protection qualification Key Selection Criteria You can demonstrate your values align with ours You have at least 1 years' experience, preferably in a sessional kinder You can demonstrate a high level of skill contributing to the program and recording observations You are able to connect and build strong connections with children and your co-workers You have a right to work in Australia Requirements Industrial Agreement / Award
