Our client is an independent body that works with people with disability, providers and the community to deliver the nationally consistent, responsive and effective regulation of National Disability Insurance Scheme providers.
Key ResponsibilitiesOur client is seeking to engage a Labour Hire Consultant for a period of initial 2.5 months to perform the following :
Catalogue current and upcoming projects / initiatives by conducting review sessions / workshops with Senior Management, project practitioners, process owners, governance and compliance areas each Commission Division / Branch to understand and capture the following information :Current statusStart / Finish dateBudgetReporting requirementsKey StakeholdersLink to Strategic PlanLink to other divisions / branchesPriority (based on project owner / lead assessment)Copy of current plans / business cases / risk / issues if availableMaturity of Project Management / Reporting in the divisionMap all of Commission projects by area showing interdependencies by division / branchLink projects / initiatives to Strategic Plan / Corporate PlanIdentify prioritisation methodology that can be applied consistently to all projects / initiativesCross check against division business plans to ensure consistencyIdentify / develop appropriate methodologies for project management to suit identified projects and priorities (Project Management Framework - complex / lite touch etc)Develop reporting framework that incorporates the needs of the division / branch and Executive Leadership Team, Ministers Office, Commissioner (key requirement - project lead / owner reports once)MilestonesCatalogue of current projects (Wk 1 - 2)Map of projects by division noting interdependencies (Wk2 -4)Link to Strategic and Corporate Plans (Wk 5)Prioritisation methodology for projects (Wk 6 - 8)Project Management Framework Methodology (Wk 9)Reporting Framework (Wk 10)Skills and ExperienceComprehensive knowledge of operation model analysis, design and delivery in a complex environmentDemonstrated experience of Project Management Framework development and deliveryDemonstrated experience of Change Management in a State / Federal Government / Regulatory environmentStrong stakeholder engagement skills, including the ability to communicate effectively, negotiate and influence outcomes, and build strong professional relationshipsHighly developed reporting and technical skillsStrategic thinkerHighly motivatedAn understanding of the NDIS Quality and Safeguarding Framework and the NDIS Act or the ability to quickly acquire that understanding.Promotes the use of technology in order to drive quality and efficiencyDesign processes and workflows which maximize efficiency and comply with regulatory and audit requirementsEligibility / Other RequirementsTo be eligible for employment in this role, you must be able to provide evidence of Australian citizen, be able to obtain a satisfactory National Police Check, and hold, or have the ability to obtain and maintain a Baseline security clearance.How to Apply
