Assistant Director Complianceto join the Compliance Program Branch.About the RoleThe EL1 Assistant Director Compliance (Labour Hire) is an important team leadership position within the agency and will have delegated authority and responsibility to resolve issues and risks across wide-ranging activities of substantial depth involving significant detail. The role requires providing leadership, control, planning, resource management, performance management and decision making for the Team Membership and assigned Contractors working within the work area.
The position will exercise a considerable degree of independence to engage in very complex problem solving and issues management within the functions. The position requires exercising sound decision-making and judgement to produce high level policy advice and operational support.
The EL1 Assistant Director Compliance (Labour Hire) is required to coordinate and assume responsibility to undertake detailed or sensitive projects that may include performing varied activities involving many different and unrelated processes or methods that may impact on the strategic or operational outcomes that support the agency's objectives to "build a world-leading National Disability Insurance Scheme".
Responsibilities of the role include but are not limited toCoordinating and monitoring team workload, providing advice and procedural guidance to the team in the performance of their tasks, maintaining quality standards by accounting for applicable legislation, processes and procedures.Leading and managing any requests from across the branch for resourcing support.Collaborating across the branch to undertake initiatives to identify opportunities to support better claiming practices through the ongoing design and review of contemporary approaches to compliance response.Collaborating across the Branch on the development and implementation of policies and procedures.Coordinating and preparing a range of high-level written material.Oversight of validation and quality assurance activities for the team and contributions to Branch-wide assurance activitiesProviding advice on, and coordinating staffing requirements, contracts, and movements.Skills and ExperienceAbility to implement change initiativesAbility to understand and interpret legislationExperience identifying and implementing process improvementsEligibility / Other RequirementsTo be eligible for employment for this role, you must be an Australian citizen.How to Apply
