Location : The Injury Management team is responsible for providing high level advice and working in partnership with Department of Health business units to ensure effective management of workers' compensation matters, injury management and return to work activities; assist business units with management of non-compensable injury / illness and ensure policy, procedures and systems are in place to meet compliance with current workers compensation and injury management legislation and Employment Direction No 29 – Managing employees absent from the workplace.

The Team : The Injury Management (IM) team is responsible for providing high level advice and working in partnership with Department of Health (DoH) business units to ensure effective management of workers' compensation matters, injury management and return to work activities; assist business units with management of non-compensable injury / illness and ensure policy, procedures and systems are in place to meet compliance with current workers compensation and injury management legislation and Employment Direction No 29 – Managing employees absent from the workplace.

The Role :

• Undertake all duties associated with Injury Management including :

Case management of workers compensation claims.Facilitating and coordinating return to work programs.Assist business units meet their obligations under Employment Direction No 29 – Managing employees absent from the workplace.

You will need : Sound knowledge of, and high level experience, in injury management practices with demonstrated understanding of injury management processes.An employee focussed, trauma informed, collaborative approach to injury management.Details of appointment : Permanent, full time, day worker, working up to 76 hours per fortnight, Commencing ASAP.

Salary : $98,255 to $103,069 per annum.

Our Employer 11.5% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.
