Volunteering is great way to gain skills and experience as well as meet new and like-minded people.
As a volunteer group assistants help supervise a group of children and young adults on the autism spectrum. As a social group assistant you will be responsible for encouraging, mentoring and supervising young adults on the autism spectrum.
The sessions are a combination of in-house activities (for example, crafts, movies, games) and excursions. This position would be appropriate for students and new graduates of social work, occupational therapy or psychology.
