Join to apply for the Product Technician role at Stellar Recruitment2 days ago Be among the first 25 applicantsJoin to apply for the Product Technician role at Stellar RecruitmentProduct Technician - Bulk & EIS ProductsLocation : Perth, WARoster : Monday to Friday (travel to site 30% of the time)Employment Type : Full-time permanent with our clientWe're on the lookout for a hands-on Technical Specialist with deep roots in the mining and explosives industry—someone who's just as comfortable in an MPU as they are presenting a report to management.If you're passionate about improving performance, driving innovation, and getting stuck in on-site, this is your chance to make a real impact.What You'll Be DoingLead projects to develop, implement, and review best practices for bulk product performanceComplete annual compliance testing to ensure TDS targets are met or exceededProvide site-based support for MPU calibration, commissioning, and operationsAssist in the continuous improvement of QA / QC processes and internal / external reportingDeliver professional development training and workshops on bulk product awarenessOffer technical support during incident investigations, audits, and system reviewsAct as a key advisor to both senior and middle management on product performance, delivery, and safetyGet on-site and hands-on—recently, one of our team trained staff directly on MPU operationsESSENTIAL Criteria : Experience working in the mining industryExperience with explosives or within the explosives industrySolid understanding of the bulk product testing processKnowledge of the bulk product approval process, testing, and complianceProven technical experience in a customer-driven mining environmentBackground in the delivery of multiple technical projectsCompetent with Microsoft Office suiteExcellent written and verbal communication skillsProven ability in knowledge transfer and trainingStrong organisational and time management skillsCurrent driver's licenceDESIRABLE Qualifications : (not mandatory)Trade qualificationsExperience in Learning Management Systems (LMS)Chemistry / laboratory qualificationBackground as a Mining EngineerHands-on MPU operational experienceShotfiring ticket or experienceIf you're looking for a role where you can blend your technical expertise with boots-on-the-ground action, we want to hear from you.
