We are seekingapplications for a Psychologist (Grade 2) to join our Medicare MentalHealth Service in Armadale , on a permanent full-time basis.

Medicare MentalHealth Centres are for adults who are feeling distressed, down or overwhelmed,or are worried about their mental health, as well as their families, friendsand carers. The centres provide caring, inclusive and helpful mental health andwellbeing support in a calm, safe and welcoming community environment.

In this role youwill have a unique opportunity to work as part of a specialistmultidisciplinary team in the provision of integrated care to clients, partnersand families experiencing mental health problems.

The Position

• Provides advanced level Psychology services including a range ofindividualised and group clinical care based on professional trainingreflecting current ethical clinical practice as required.
• Provides comprehensive assessment and care planning monitoring consumerprogress adjusting treatment accordingly for complex management.
• Liaise with multi-disciplinary team to promote effective communicationincluding verbal and written feedback to referring Doctor.
• Familiar and complies with legal, ethical responsibilities to consumers,visitors and staff, inclusive of maintaining confidentiality.
• You will haveexperience providing group programs and individual therapy to child, adolescentand adult consumers presenting with a myriad of concerns, demonstrate clinicalleadership skills and ability to undertake quality improvement activities.

Successfulapplicants will have tertiary qualifications in Psychology and currentregistration with the Psychology Board of Australia. Experience running groupsand providing individual therapy using CBT, DBT and Schema-Focused Therapy willbe highly regarded.
