Sapura Energy Australia (SEA), a wholly owned subsidiary of the Malaysian based Sapura Energy Berhad, is a leading offshore oil and gas subsea contractor with more than 30 years of track record in the offshore construction market.

We are excited to offer an opportunity for an experienced Senior Project Engineer to join our dynamic Engineering Team. This is a permanent & full-time position based out of our Perth CBD office.

As a Senior Project Engineer, you will play a key role in shaping and delivering innovative projects that contribute to the continued growth and success of our company. Reporting directly to the Engineering Manager, knowledgeable in executing offshore projects, you will be responsible for leading complex engineering projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality outcomes.

Your key responsibilities will include but not be limited to :

Lead the preparation, development, and submission of high-quality, competitive tenders in response to client requirements

Prepare and deliver compelling presentations to clients

Develop procurement, fabrication, installation, commissioning and / or decommissioning engineering documentation (scopes of work, calculations, drawings, sketches, procedures etc.) in compliance with client requirements and specifications

Identify all material, installation aids and services (including relevant sub-contractors) required to perform the work

Complete purchasing and procurement processes for project related equipment / subcontract packages including development of scopes of work, evaluation of proposals and implementation of terms of contract throughout delivery and execution

Deliver operational and technical execution offshore which includes mobilisation and demobilisation activities in safe and efficient manner in line with client requirements and expectations

Ensure work implementation meets Sapura Energy’s Management, Health, Safety, Environment & Quality Systems

Perform as the technical authority for the delivery of assigned scopes of work

Support the Offshore Construction Manager as the technical authority for work scope execution offshore

About You

Tertiary qualifications in Engineering (or similar)

10+ years’ experience of preparation, engineering and offshore project execution in particularly in development (and / or decommissioning) of SURF, mooring systems, rigid pipeline and subsea structures related subsea projects

Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to confidently deliver oral presentations

Experience with saturation and air diving operations

Experience in operations involving ROV subsea tooling and vessel positioning equipment

Have a Can-Do attitude, Innovative, great team player, dynamic and results driven
