Principal Recruitment Consultant - Accounting at Mills Recruitment The Client Leading mid-tier accounting practice based in the CBD and covering every aspect of their client's requirements across tax, business advisory, audit, SMSF and corporate secretarial. The Opportunity The tax services team are seeking a dedicated and committed Analyst - Senior Analyst to join the Corporate Tax division.

Located in state-of-the-art Perth offices that offer staff first-class end-of-trip facilities and a staff hub with games including a table tennis table, coffee and soft drinks the office provides a haven for staff to enjoy coming to work each day.

The successful applicant will gain exposure to a range of tax advisory and compliance matters for clients across a variety of industries, including but not limited to the resources industry.

Key responsibilities : - Preparation and review of Australian Tax compliance; Liaising and consulting with internal stakeholders and clients from a range of industries, providing complex tax advice for local and international businesses; Assisting in liaising with the Australian Taxation Office in respect of taxpayer ruling requests and disputes; Strengthening existing client relationships and developing new client relationships; Assessing engagement risk and applying commercially astute decisions; and Providing technical training and mentoring to junior staff in the Corporate Tax Team. Effectively managing clients to ensure valuable service delivery and strong ongoing relationships; The Successful Applicant To be considered for this position you will possess the following :

Minimum of Bachelor's Degree in Commerce, with an Accounting or Finance major; Qualified as a Chartered Accountant or equivalent; 4+ years' experience in providing Corporate Tax services, resources sector and / or cross-border advisory experience is desirable; Exceptional verbal and written communication skills; and Strong organisational and time management skills.
