THE ROLE :
This role is responsible for the creation, refinement and delivery of content and communications on behalf of the International Education team in Austrade's Trade Division. This includes working across internal teams in Australia and around the world, collaborating with staff across Austrade's Marketing and Digital teams, and with external suppliers, partners and government colleagues.
The Content, Communications and Events Adviser is responsible for the sourcing, writing and repurposing of content for Austrade's provider-facing news and social media, and the technical delivery of sector and global virtual events. The role also supports team managers responsible for the delivery of the EDI service, SAP partnership initiatives and sector-facing communications, with a range of administrative duties. It involves generating and implementing ideas in support of content and communications strategy, and broader engagement with government and sector stakeholders.
DUTIES INCLUDE : Deliver cohesive and coordinated content across Austrade's education sector-facing channels, including EDI and Austrade's Education sector LinkedIn. Work closely with colleagues in Austrade's global network to coordinate and deliver a fortnightly eDM for 12,000 readers nationally. Develop and maintain relevant, up-to-date and timely content, according to publication deadlines. Generate and implement ideas for content and communications that align with Austrade's global trade sector strategies and priorities. Provide administrative support for the delivery of the EDI service to subscribers, including web user and analytics and account management duties. Provide technical and coordinating support for the delivery of online events and briefings, including external webinars and internal professional development sessions. Build trust as a reliable point of contact for Austrade staff, federal government colleagues, and state and territory partners. Manage, develop and implement projects as required, ensuring compliance with financial, procurement and other relevant Austrade policies. Fulfil other duties as required, including representing Austrade in corporate and government settings.
