ROLE EXPECTATIONS
This is a pivotal role with real impact — you'll help shape the company’s growth and success. Your responsibilities will include :
- Developing and executing a strategic sales plan to grow business across Brisbane
- Identifying opportunities in commercial developments , residential builds , and renovation projects
- Actively pursuing new business leads and building a strong client base
- Establishing and maintaining relationships with builders , architects , developers , and contractors
- Representing the company at trade shows , networking events , and industry functions
- Understanding client needs and providing tailored tiling solutions
- Offering expert advice on tiling products , design trends , and installation techniques
- Overseeing projects from concept to completion, ensuring quality and client satisfaction
CANDIDATE EXPECTATIONS
We’re looking for someone with strong sales experience — ideally within the construction , tiling , or building materials sector. To succeed in this role, you’ll need :
- Proven experience in a senior sales or business development position
- A solid track record of winning new business and closing deals
- Strong knowledge of tiling products , installation techniques , and industry trends
- A self-motivated , proactive mindset and ability to work both independently and in a team
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Strong negotiation abilities and experience managing complex sales cycles
- Existing industry contacts (especially with builders , architects , and developers ) is a big plus
- Strong time management and organisational skills
- Technical understanding of tiling or a willingness to learn and stay up to date
