We looking for a hands on cleaning supervisor to work in Melbourne and surrounding suburbs.
- Key responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate activities of staff
- Conduct orientation programmes for new employees
- Organise day to day cleaning operations
- Inspect client's premises and communicate and rectify issues arising out of cleaning
- Undertake any additional cleaning duties as directed, by the Business Manager.
- To be responsible for the day-to-day personnel management of the cleaning staff, and consulting with the Business Manager on any necessary formal procedures.
- Investigate and maintain a working knowledge of developments in cleaning equipment and materials and to identify means by which the cleaning operation might be developed.
Identify formal and informal training needs for all cleaning staff.
To monitor stocks of cleaning equipment and materials in order that orders can be placed on a timely basis.Key skills and attributesWorking rightsPolice clearance certificateHas previous cleaning or supervisory experience in cleaning industryDemonstrates fantastic and effective stakeholder management skillsDemonstrates excellent planning and organizational skills with the ability to multitaskHas proven experience in meeting contractual requirements within a compliance frameworkHas excellent verbal and written communication skills, impeccable personal presentation and professional demeanour.Additional benifitsprovision of vehicle, fuel, phone and toll
