Proven experience as a DFIR investigator or equivalent required

The CyberCX Digital Forensic & Incident Response Team (DFIR) operates at the leading-edge of digital forensic investigations and cyber breach response, providing detailed technical analysis and response services on over 460 incidents every year.
Our team are often the first call for organisations when cyber breaches occur. Our expertise covers the full range of cyber breach cases, from minor malware outbreaks, to large and destructive ransomware attacks, to sophisticated intrusions by foreign nation-state threat actors.

Reporting to the Managing Investigator, Digital Forensics & Incident Response (DFIR), the Lead Investigator is an experienced practitioner whose primarily responsibility is to take a leading role in the scoping and delivery of digital forensic investigations, cyber breach response, and other engagements for CyberCX clients.
This role also supports leadership and performance of their squad, and contributes to the overall operations of the DFIR practice.
You will take a leading role in scoping client engagements in accordance with the DFIR operational framework, including scoping requirements, defining technical work to be performed, drafting budget estimates, preparing engagement letters and other documentation.
You will also take a leading role in delivery of engagements, working closely with your squad members, squad leader and others across DFIR and CyberCX more broadly.
You are inquisitive and determined, creative and clever, you think outside the box to find innovative and practical solutions for solving technical problems.
This role will suit a highly capable individual who is consistently delivering high quality DFIR work with effective stakeholder engagement and communication skills, and experience building credibility with both senior leaders and operational teams.
