Systems Administrator

The Systems Administrator will be tasked with managing the vendor-driven grant management platform. The role involves configuring the system, overseeing the vendor’s tasks, and working with cross-functional teams to ensure effective operation of its grants management system, along with its integrated suite of Microsoft365 tools.

Location : Canberra or Melbourne

Key duties and responsibilities

• Configure the business systems, Forms and workflows.
• Working with business areas to implement their requirements into system configuration.
• Contribute to the identification and implementation of systems improvement initiatives.
• Demonstrated ability to manage and resolve IT incidents efficiently, adhering to ITIL best practices to ensure minimal disruption to business operations and maintain high service quality.
• Collaborate with testing teams to develop comprehensive test plans and test cases.
• Assist with functional testing to ensure solutions meet the specified requirements.
• Participate in user acceptance testing (UAT) and facilitate issue resolution.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and understand their requirements, objectives, and challenges.
• Analyse current business processes and systems to identify areas for improvement and optimisation.
• Translate business requirements into clear and concise technical specifications.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
• Assist in the development of user manuals, training materials, and process documentation to support end-users.
