About the RoleWe're seeking an experienced
- Security Services Manager
- to lead our security operations and accounts for an impressive portfolio across our client base in education, healthcare, technology, public precincts and commercial facilities. In this central role, you will be directly responsible for the contract and relationship management of your assigned client portfolio. You will guide and develop our team while collaborating closely with the Head of Operations and our clients to ensure satisfaction and drive business success.
As a passionate and proven security leader, you'll bring a track record of delivering strategic results and building strong internal and external relationships. We're looking for someone who thrives in a challenging environment, with expertise in contract management, employee management and exceptional time management skills.
You will dynamically split your time between direct contact on site with clients and within our National Services Support Centre located in Redfern - just a short walk from public transport.

- Build and maintain strong internal and client relationships to meet business targets and needs effectively.
- Manage security activities including asset protection, access control, and crowd management, ensuring adherence to complex instructions and procedures.
- Oversee security operations both individually and in a team setting, across multiple facilities and locations, with mínimal supervision.
- Ensure accuracy and timeliness in correspondence, reports, and submissions, adhering to contract requirements and deadlines.
- Handle client feedback and requests efficiently and within agreed time frames. Maintain a strong rapport with clients and be a trusted partner in their successful operations.
- Support the implementation of policies and procedures, driving continuous improvement in systems and processes.
- Essential Criteria
- NSW Security License (1A and 2A, with 2A highly regarded).
- Minimum of 3 years management experience.
- Proven experience managing a team of 20+.
- Expertise in rostering and workforce planning.
- Strong stakeholder management skills.
- Comprehensive understanding of compliance and regulations.
- Experience in a fast-paced security operations environment.
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office and strong computer literacy.
- Proactive, with a hands-on approach to problem-solving.
- Full NSW Driver's License.
- Current First Aid Certificate.
- Responsible Service of Alcohol Competency Card (current).
- Certificate IV in Security Risk Management (or willingness to obtain).
- Traffic Control and Implement Traffic Management Plan certificates / cards (or willingness to obtain).
- White Card (or willingness to obtain).
- Operate as Part of an Emergency Control Organisation [Fire Warden] (or willingness to obtain).
