About the roleThe OSHC Educator will support the Team with the day-to-day operations of before / after school and vacation care programs.
They will provide supervision and duty of care to ensure the safety and wellbeing of all children in their care. This role contributes to the planning, delivery and evaluation of a range of educational and engaging activities and experiences that support children's learning and development within a safe, enjoyable and inclusive environment.
This role is a _Part-Time_ or _Casual_ role to support our growing services in Inner West.
Assist in the development, planning and implementation of quality and compliant programs for children.Contribute to the assessment & planning cycle, evaluation and improvement of programsFoster a rich play environment consistent with the My Time, Our Place Framework for School Age CareActively supervise children and maintain appropriate supervision ratios to ensure children's safety and wellbeing; redirect as necessaryMaintain an awareness of children's needs, wants and abilities and facilitate the achievement of these within the activities and programInstruct and monitor children in the appropriate use of equipmentMaintain a safe and hygienic environment for childrenUnderstand, role model, and be guided by positive behaviour guidance policy, assisting children to develop such skillsSupport the implementation of induction and transition programsWork collaboratively with families, providing regular feedback and information regarding the care and specific needs of their childrenPerform all other reasonable additional duties as requested by managementAbout YouYou have knowledge and understanding of all legislation relevant to OSHC and understanding and demonstrated commitment to EEO, Access & Equity including working with and supporting the inclusion of children with additional needs,You have experience working in a school, aged care and / or education centreYou have a Diploma or Certificate IV Children's Services, OSHC, Recreation; or Degree or Diploma Primary TeachingYou have First Aid, Asthma, Anaphylaxis management certificationYou operate well in a team and alone, great communication skills.What it means to work at 3Bridges?Our culture has been formed with a community spirit and passion to give back. 3Bridges aims to inspire and encourage our people to be the best they can be, through ongoing training, career opportunities and success as a valued team member.
