We have an exciting opportunity to join the Asahi team as a Distribution Employee at our Townsville facility. Working in distribution, you'll ensure that the finished goods are correctly unloaded, stored, issued and reconciled in accordance with Supply Chain, Customer and EHS requirements. Accuracy and efficiency in managing our production stock to seamlessly connect our customers with some of Australia's favourite beverages.
Key Responsibilities
- Manual picking in line with daily KPIs
- Conduct cycle stock-takes on items when SAP figures are incorrect vs physical stock
- Carry out routine MHE review activities and report equipment faults to ensure all equipment is maintained for optimum performance
- Adhering to all safety procedures and policies
- Train & support other team members as required in process activities to ensure multi-skilling and team efficiency.
- Liaise with freight providers and delivery drivers on day-to-day basis
About You
To be successful in this position you will require experience in a manual picking role, in addition to the following :
Experience working in a fast-paced warehousing environmentA Forklift License would be highly regardedStrong written and verbal communication skills including data entry experienceAbility to follow written work instructions, keep accurate records and have a strong attention to detailAbility to work in a team environment, with a high level of engagement and participationAbility to investigate issues and problem solve effectivelyA strong commitment to safety and continuous improvement activitiesPhysically fit and able to complete manual labour
