Support Worker

Educ8 International is an organisation committed to the development of a long-term, well trained and supported workforce. We are currently looking to employ people who are eligible and willing to work as support workers.

Ideal Applicant will demonstrate :

• Experience in the following areas; enteral nutrition, using hoists, and assisting with medication and self-care.
• Professional commitment to providing exceptional support to our elderly community.
• A passion to strive to identify the aims and ambitions of the people we support.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills and the capacity to work closely with elderly people.
• Ability to work on your own or as part of a team.
• Have a belief that people should live their best life and support them to do so.

Role related tasks

Assist to the personal care and daily living needs of people we support.

Provide opportunities for active participation, connection and contribution for the participants within their home and local community.

Contribute to a high quality of life alongside people we support.

Contribute to written documentation as required and within a high standard.

Requirements

Willingness to participate in ongoing learning and training

Hold a minimum cert 3 in individual or ageing support

Hold and maintain a current unrestricted motor vehicle license.

First Aid and CPR Certificate.

Have the required education or experience.

Willing to submit to Criminal History Screening.

Our workers will be required to provide evidence of Covid-19 vaccination status if required by Public Health Direction.
