- About the Role
Due to business growth, my client has a position available in Perth for an experienced and passionate NDIS Team Leader or Disability Services Manager.
This is a brand new site and if successful, you will be there from the ground up helping to recruit and train staff. You will also be vital in setting up a brand new office space.
This is the perfect opportunity to make the site your own and to grow an amazing team around you.
Your new role will include :
- Helping to set up a brand new site in Perth
- Initially working from home or in a shared office space whilst the brand new site is being refurbished
- Participating in recruitment and interview processes
- Providing supportive and engaging mentoring and leadership to the NDIS support workers for the Perth team
- Supervising and implementing the delivery of person-centred, client focused services
- ensure compliance with all national and state regulatory and legislative requirements
- Conducting new participant intakes
- Monitoring compliance
- Mentoring and coaching Disability Support workers
- Rostering and timesheet management
- Conducting risk assessments
- Development and monitoring of Participant Support Plans
- Promoting a continuous improvement culture amongst the team
- About You
This role will suit an experienced and passionate mentor with strong relationship building and leadership skills with a team engaging approach.
We are ideally looking for the following key attributes :
- A minimum of 5 years experience in a similar role
- A highly resourceful team player
- Calm and focussed under pressure
- Experience developing continuous improvement systems
- Excellent report writing abilities
- A dedicated approach to your team with the ability to support, engage and inspire your staff

- What you'll need
- A minimum of Cert III in Community or Disability Services
- Current Driver's License and Vehicle
- A current Working with Children's Check
- A current Police Check
