We are looking for experienced, reliable and professional Security Officer to join our team. This role offers day shifts, Monday to Friday – perfect for those looking for work-life balance.
Key Responsibilities :
Security Officers :
Maintain a visible presence while monitoring the premises to ensure safety and security.
Engage with visitors in a friendly and professional manner, providing assistance and information.
Respond promptly to incidents and emergencies, ensuring a calm and effective resolution.
Conduct thorough inspections and maintain accurate logs of activities and observations.
Security Rovers :
Perform proactive patrols of designated areas, focusing on both security and customer engagement.
Foster a welcoming atmosphere by assisting visitors and tenants with inquiries and providing directions.
Collaborate with team members to enhance the overall visitor experience.
Skills and experience
To be considered for placement you will need to have the following skills / traits :
Proven experience in control room Security ideally in a role at an A grade corporate building and precincts.
Experience in Access Control and CCTV systems is highly preferred.
Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse individuals.
Fully qualified and Licensed for Security Operations in QUEENSLAND.
Control Room Operator capacity on the Security License highly preferred.
Current Senior First Aid Certification.
Current QLD Security Licence (Blue Card) holder preferred , or willing to obtain one
Ability to obtain or hold a valid AFP (Australian Federal Police) National Police Check
Proven spoken and written communication skills in English.
Contractor / Visitor Management, Access Control, Reception Duties, Loading Dock Control Experience.
Basic Microsoft Office Skills.
Have access to reliable transport.
Have the passion and drive to succeed.
Flexible to the ever-changing needs of the industry.
Able to work in a team.
Desire to advance and upskill.
