We are seeking a Leisure and Lifestyle Assistant for our CraigCare Moonee Ponds Home on a Full

As the Lifestyle Assistant, you will be responsible for, implementing, and evaluating a vibrant and varied social activities program that specifically caters to the interests, hobbies, and spiritual and cultural needs of our residents.
- What You'll Do
- Support and enable residents to maximise their independence, improving and maintaining their health, wellness and quality of life
- Assist the Lifestyle Coordinator to develop Lifestyle programs
- Deliver and coordinate activities (internal and external to the Home) to cater for all aspects of our resident's home environment including the social, religious and cultural requirements of each individual
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with residents, families, team members, volunteers and local community groups
- Ability to write care plans for individual residents to accommodate their needs
- Strong ability to utilise community support programs
- What You'll Bring
- Aged Care experience with a genuine interest in elderly care and the desire to improve the lives of our residents
- Comprehensive understanding to ensure resident choices become part of the activities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with our residents
- Certificate III in Individual Support and Certificate III in Leisure and Lifestyle
- Sound knowledge of the Aged Care Standards
- Ability to use electronic medical records, technology and have sound computer skills
- Provide proof of NDIS clearance, right to work in Australia
