The Role :

Cooper Grace Ward is looking for a Corporate / M&A lawyer (2-8 PAE) to join our leading Corporate Advisory workgroup. You will have the opportunity to work alongside market-leading partners Charles Sweeney and Andrew Corkhill on high-value M&A transactions, with a significant focus on the energy, mining and renewables sectors.

Our Corporate Advisory group is one of the largest and most successful in the Queensland market, acting for a wide range of premium clients.

The variety of work you will do includes :

• Advising on high-value M&A transactions
• Providing general corporate and commercial advice
• Collaborating with clients to provide solutions and strategic advice on corporate governance
• Advising on merger and acquisition and divestment transactions, including conducting due diligence investigations and drafting key transaction agreements
• Advising on and drafting commercial contracts
• Advising on joint ventures, including drafting shareholder and similar agreements.
