Job description

Job Responsibilities

The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for :

Performing preventive and corrective maintenance on mining machinery.
Diagnosing and troubleshooting technical issues with heavy machinery and industrial systems.
Executing repairs and adjustments to ensure the optimal functioning of equipment.
Supporting the process of relocating and assembling mining plants.
Collaborating with the engineering team to implement improvements and updates.
Maintaining detailed records of work performed and parts used.
Complying with company safety standards and regulations.
Participating in training and professional development programs.

Requirements

Technical degree or diploma in Industrial Maintenance, Mechanics, or a related field.

Minimum of 3 years of experience in maintaining heavy machinery and industrial equipment.

Solid knowledge of electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems.

Ability to read and interpret technical blueprints and schematics.

Experience using diagnostic tools and testing equipment.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Flexibility to work rotating shifts and availability to respond to emergencies.
