About the role and where you will be working :

We are currently seeking a Maintenance & Facilities Officer to join our team at Victoria Park Nursing Home & Hostel in Kalgoorlie on a permanent full time basis. As Maintenance & Facilities Officer well be asking you to help ensure the safety and upkeep of all our site premises in Kalgoorlie.

Well be asking you to :

• Action maintenance requests and plan for required works.
• Carry out maintenance work in a timely and tradesperson manner there is a variety of work across various classes of buildings which can include :
• Patching and painting
• Door and window repairs
• Testing and tagging (we will train you)
• Condition audits of buildings and facilities
• Hard landscaping maintenance (no gardening)
• General handy tasks
• Strong communication skills being able to speak with a variety of people
• Having a passion for a safe working environment

About You

You are someone who has experience in maintenance handyman or trade works and repairs. You are able to communicate clearly with everyone involved in order to ensure the proper upkeep of our facilities.
