Based from Brisbane's Inner North, this large team of industry experts specialise in electrical engineering for Government, Heavy Industry, Food and Utilities. This is a National professional and stable business boasting over 40 years of successful operation and consistent growth, with a strong focus on building strong relationships with their valued clients.

Their product range includes Australian-designed and manufactured LV and HV power distribution products. Managing client needs in-house, from design and sheet metal fabrication to assembly, testing, installation, and project management, across our three manufacturing facilities across Australia.

Estimator - Switchboard Manufacturing

What's the opportunity?

Due to continued growth there is a new opportunity for an experienced electrical estimator to join the business and contribute toward expanding their company footprint within the Electrical Engineering & Manufacturing sector.

This opportunity will see you specialise in the preparation, submission and follow up of tenders for Electrical Switchboards throughout a wide range of industries. Including the following Responsibilities :

• Analysing drawings, plans and other documentation to prepare time, cost, materials, and labor estimates
• Apply your extensive knowledge of industry and current market requirements to successfully compile tender submissions systematically and in alignment with company requirements
• Accurate compilation of tender submissions and presentations
• Identify creative solutions to client requirements that may involve degree of competitive differentiation and innovation
• Actively participate in meetings, build and maintain strong relationships with company clients, industry suppliers and subcontractors
• Provide accurate and competitive Tenders for Projects within Queensland and Australia wide complying to AS3000 and AS61439 rules.
• Maintain the company systems and tendering processes, work toward strict deadlines and achieve targets while upholding a high standard of delivery
