As a Senior Dams Engineer , you will support and contribute to the growth of the Worley Consulting dams business locally, regionally and globally from a base location in Brisbane. The role will require the candidate to develop and engage with our customer base, work on a wide variety of water dams prospects and projects across a diverse range of customers and industry sectors – including water utilities, local and state government, renewables, water infrastructure and mining.

What you’ll do

We are looking for a Senior Dams Engineer to join our Brisbane team.

The role responsibilities include :

• Hold personal safety and safe working practices as a key priority.
• Deliver technical services for water dams opportunities on behalf of Worley Consulting, including strategy and concept studies, site investigation, safety reviews, inspections, design, construction supervision, operational requirements and customer advice.
• Provide support to the regional dams lead through business development and strategic contribution to grow the business.
• Implement Worley Consulting’s strategy of diversifying our customer base and expanding our service offering.
• Deliver high quality technical work with strong commercial focus.
• Liaise with suppliers, customers and consultants concerning the investigation, design, installation or construction and commissioning of assigned work.
• Train, provide guidance and mentoring to junior colleagues.
