Equipment Inspector - Geelong
Our client, a leader in the auction and heavy equipment industry, is seeking an Equipment Inspector to join their team in Geelong. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with experience in equipment inspection, inventory management, or yard operations who thrives in a hands-on role.
About the Role :
As an Equipment Inspector , you will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy and quality of equipment inventory. You'll be responsible for conducting inspections, verifying equipment details, and capturing high-quality images for auction listings. This role involves both administrative tasks and hands-on yard work, making it ideal for someone who enjoys a varied work environment.
Key Responsibilities :
- Perform detailed visual inspections of equipment, checking for wear, damage, and functionality.
- Accurately document equipment details, including serial numbers, contract proofs, and additional accessories.
- Capture and upload high-quality photos for auction listings.
- Assist with equipment loading / unloading and yard maintenance.
- Work closely with sales and operations teams to support equipment appraisals and inspections.
- Maintain inventory records and ensure accuracy in data entry.
- Promote a strong safety culture in all aspects of the role.
