Are you an experienced Social Worker looking for a rewarding locum opportunity in a hospital setting? We're seeking a dedicated professional to provide crisis intervention and short-term support within an Emergency Department in regional NT.
About the Role
In this role, you will :
Provide social work services within a hospital environment, focusing on crisis intervention and short-term support.
Conduct domestic and family violence risk assessments , safety planning, and referrals to appropriate services.
Manage child protection concerns , including mandatory reporting and liaising with relevant agencies.
Work flexible hours , including weekends, after-hours, and 1pm-10pm shifts , as well as on-call duties.
What You'll Need
Experience as a Social Worker in a hospital setting - crisis intervention experience required
Strong knowledge of family violence risk assessment and intervention strategies .
Familiarity with child protection protocols and mandatory reporting requirements .
Willingness to work extended hours and participate in an on-call roster.
Teritary degree in Social Work required
AASW registration desirable
Valid drivers licence
