Location – Parramatta (Hybrid working environment)
Employment type – Ongoing Full Time
Salary – $120,859 $133,183 pa plus employer contribution to superannuation and leave loading.
Your role
This role sits within the Communication and Engagement team, with a primary purpose to manage and coordinate the development, implementation, and evaluation of complex projects. These projects align to the ADC’s responsibilities, which aim to improve service delivery and operations, and contribute to promoting better outcomes for individuals, families, groups and communities across NSW.
What you’ll do
The key responsibilities of the Senior Project Officer include :
Establishing and maintaining stakeholder relationships through effective communication, negotiation and issues management to engage stakeholders, meet project deliverables, and ensure there is an effective interface with ADC engagement programs, planning, service design and policy implementation.
Managing and overseeing all aspects of project planning, development and implementation for a range of projects, including developing project plans, coordinating resources, managing budgets, meeting reporting requirements, and supporting project-related activities, to ensure project outcomes are achieved on time, on budget, to quality standards and within agreed scope.
Undertaking research and formulate recommendations to support evidence based project planning and decision making.
Providing advice and information to stakeholders on emerging project issues and to support project development and delivery in line with established plans, budgets, timeframes, policy objectives and other projects and priorities.
What we’re looking for
Experience in strategic and innovative project management, with experience in stakeholder engagement.
Excellent understanding of project methodologies, processes, and procedures.
Commitment to the rights of adults with disability and older people.
Relevant tertiary qualifications or equivalent experience.
Full vaccination against COVID-19.
