SDJ Automotive is currently seeking highly skilled and passionate Motor Mechanics to join our dynamic team. If you have a strong mechanical background and a keen interest in vehicle performance, we want to hear from you!

As a Motor Mechanic at SDJ Automotive, you'll play a vital role in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide variety of vehicles, ensuring they run at their best. We're looking for individuals who take pride in their work and are eager to deliver top-quality service.

Role Overview :

In this role, your primary responsibilities will include :

Fault Identification & Diagnosis : Troubleshooting and diagnosing issues with engines, transmissions, steering systems, and other vehicle components.
Engine Dismantling & Removal : Carefully dismantling and inspecting engine assemblies for repair.
Part Repair & Replacement : Replacing defective or worn parts to ensure optimal vehicle performance.
Routine Maintenance : Performing scheduled maintenance such as oil changes, lubrication, and tune-ups.
Rebuilding & Reassembling : Reassembling engines and mechanical components after repairs to ensure everything is working as it should.
Component Testing & Adjustment : Using diagnostic tools to verify all parts are functioning correctly.
Diagnostic Support : Employing advanced computer-assisted diagnostic tools to aid in troubleshooting and repair.
Vehicle Inspections & Roadworthiness Certifications : Performing vehicle inspections and issuing roadworthiness certificates or identifying additional repairs needed for compliance.

Key Requirements :

Proven experience as a Motor Mechanic.

Strong diagnostic, troubleshooting, and repair skills.

Expertise in performing routine and complex maintenance on a variety of vehicles.

Proficiency with diagnostic tools and computer-assisted systems.

Attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality service.

Excellent problem-solving abilities.
