About the Opportunity

Are you passionate about travel? An exciting opportunity has arisen for experienced Travel Consultants to join our industry leading travel agency team of experts in our Geelong store. We pride ourselves on delivering great service and creating unforgettable travel experiences for our customers.

This could be just the right role for you?

As a Travel Consultant, you will utilise your exceptional customer service skills and share your extensive knowledge of global destinations and passion for travel. You will be responsible for creating personalised travel itineraries managing the customer experience from beginning to end. Your key responsibilities for the role include :

• Promote holiday packages, flights, hotels, cruises, tours, experiences & insurance
• Build relationships with customers face to face and online, managing new enquiries, quotes, itineraries, amendments and cancellations
• Facilitate domestic & international travel bookings and payments between travellers & suppliers, using Amadeus GDS
• Convert enquiries into confirmed bookings, cross selling & up selling of travel products
• Manage travel credits, refunds and changes
• Attend sales meetings and achieve targets & KPIs
• Attend industry events ie. supplier & product events, ship inspections & travel expos

Our Geelong retail store is open 6 days week, Monday-Friday 9am-5pm & Saturday 9am-2pm. Our team work during these hours with the requirement to attend occasional out of office industry events.
