A Day in The Life

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.

• To ensure agreed inventory levels are maintained to support all requirements for Surgical procedures can be met. In conjunction with Team leader and Ops manager.
• Consignment sets are restocked for surgery so inventory levels are maintained to support all requirements for Surgical procedures can be met. In conjunction with Team leader and Ops manager
• To maintain communication, ensure the correct management and scheduling of all the kit resources to facilitate the Loan Kit Technicians being able to effectively pick, pack and dispatch loan kits.
• This is a critical role that directly impacts on the efficiency of the Loan Kits team. It is imperative to the customers we serve that our team executes this task efficiently and accurately.
• Support our trauma business and as such there will be a need for this role to work as part of a 24 hour, on-call roster that is shared amongst the team. During peak periods, there may also be over time required.
• Prepare bookings to manage instrument sets and inventory levels for Kits sent to Hospitals.
• Assist with packing and checking of Sets as required.
• Support all Medtronic Set assets (inventory and non-inventory) on the premises.
• Maintain a thorough knowledge of products for planning and triage of sets.
• Completion of quarterly stock takes of all products in the territories within given KPI’s.
• Manage freight providers for effective delivery of Sets to meet surgical demands.
• Follow QMS for the loaner site in line with the Medtronic ISO13485 processes and published KPI’s.
• Comply with Medtronic’s Quality, Finance and Legal policies and procedures; respond to both Internal and External Audit.
• Observe all health and safety policies and procedures and take all reasonable care that actions or omissions do not impact on the health and safety of others.
