Baptcare, a leading provider of aged care, family and community services, is seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our Community Services team as a Full-Time Advice and Referral Line Worker based in Moonah.
In this rewarding role, you will be the first point of contact for individuals seeking support and guidance. Your primary responsibility will be to provide caring and empathetic assistance, actively listening to their concerns, and offering practical advice and appropriate referrals to relevant services within the community.
Key Responsibilities :
1. Operate the Advice and Referral Line, responding to incoming calls and inquiries from individuals seeking assistance.
2. Actively listen to callers, demonstrating empathy and understanding while gathering relevant information about their circumstances.
3. Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify the specific needs and requirements of each caller.
4. Provide accurate and up-to-date information on available services, programs, and resources within the community.
5. Collaborate with internal teams and external organizations to facilitate referrals and ensure seamless service delivery.
6. Maintain detailed records and documentation, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with organizational policies and procedures.
To succeed in this role, you should possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to build rapport with callers from diverse backgrounds. Strong problem-solving abilities and a working knowledge of community services and resources are essential.
