Job description

Looking for a rewarding career where you can make a difference in the community? We’re hiring Support Workers to help elderly customers live independently in their own homes.

Do you meet these minimum requirements?

Passionate about aged care – helping our elderly customers live independently in the comfort of their own homes
Hold a current Australian Drivers' Licence with your own car (sorry, we cannot accept International licences or shared / rental vehicles)
Fully Vaccinated (2 doses) for COVID-19
Live in or near Mullumbimby including surrounding suburbs Ocean Shores, Brunswick Heads, Billinudgel, Main Arm, South Golden Beach, Wilson Creek, New Brighton or Myocum
Know this is not a vacancy for Disability or to work in a facility / nursing home

What this role offers :

Available Roles : Open to Entry Level & Experienced candidates

Contract Type : Permanent Part-Time

Contract Hours : 20-30 hours per fortnight + flex up hours

Hourly Rate : $29.81 - $33.00 per hour + 11.5% super + $0.92 / km allowance + paid travel time

What You’ll Be Doing :

Entry-Level Carers : Provide domestic assistance, such as cleaning, vacuuming, laundry, and meal preparation.

Experienced Carers : Provide personal care services including showering, toileting, assistance with medications, as well as domestic duties & social supports, assisting with transportation for clients.

What we’re looking for :

Flexibility : Availability Monday to Friday flexibility to work between 1pm to 7pm preferred availability.

Commitment : To our paid 2-week Brilliant @ Basics Training when you start! (Get ready to learn, grow & be supported!)

Healthcare experience is a plus but not required!
