FindStaff is seeking an experienced Operations Manager for our client, a premier provider of high-quality glazing work across the Sydney Metro area.
About the role
Due to huge growth within the business, we are looking for a talented and professional Operations Manager to join our team. You will supervise a team of 12 and monitor projects such as Glass Roofs, Glass Lift Shafts, Automatic Doors, Glazed partition, Aluminium windows and doors for both residential and commercial projects.
To be successful in this role, you should have detailed knowledge and working experience predominately in an office and site-based environment, working closing with consulting firms or construction companies, or in the public sector with the State / Territory Government Departments / Authorities. You will be responsible for quoting, plus regular site visits once a project begins, monitoring variations in construction and their impacts on costs. Ultimately, a top-notch Operations Manager provides a positive customer experience, while constantly meeting high professional standards.
About you
To succeed in this role you will have minimum 6 years’ hands-on experience in the Glazing industry. An excellent communicator & negotiator with keen judgment and decision-making ability. You will use your solid critical thinking, logic and reasoning skills to problem solve & provide solutions, along with your meticulous attention to detail & accuracy. A trade qualification in glass & aluminium is highly desirable.
