Location : Perth, WA

The company / project

Our client is a successful business providing engineering, construction and commissioning services to the mineral processing industry. They offer services across the project lifecycle from feasibility studies; through engineering and design; to self-performed fabrication, construction and commissioning.

The role

Our client is seeking an experienced Engineering Manager with expertise within the mining / mineral processing industry.

The role holds ultimate accountability for the timing, quality and accuracy of technical deliverables.

You will report to the GM of Engineering and Projects but also coordinate and manage the multi-disciplinary engineering and design team.

The below bullet points are your duties but not limited too;

Coordination, Leadership and management of the engineering and design teams

Timing, quality and accuracy of technical deliverables

Technical decision making - must have knowledge and experience in this area

Integration of the engineering and design requirements - business development, studies and project teams

Identifying improvement of engineering and design processes

Identification and delivery of fit-for-purpose growth initiatives

Mentorship, growth and shaping of the teams

What you'll need to succeed

Perth-based role and ideally Australian citizen, or permanent resident

Degree-qualified Engineer, preferably with post-graduate credentials

10 years minimum experience in similar roles in the mining / mineral processing sector. Demonstrated experience in the application of Australian and international codes and standards.
