The Opportunity

With a significant pipeline of projects underway, this is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Development Manager to join the South Australian team. You will play a key role in managing multiple projects across the full development lifecycle, working closely with a collaborative leadership group in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
The Role
As a Development Manager, you will take ownership of projects from acquisition through to completion, ensuring delivery is achieved on time, within budget, and to a high standard.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing multiple development projects from concept through to handover
- Coordinating consultants including planners, engineers, architects, and contractors
- Preparing and managing feasibility models, budgets, and cashflow forecasts
- Monitoring project timelines, risks, and performance to ensure successful outcomes
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with councils, authorities, contractors, and key stakeholders
- Acting as the key point of contact for all project-related communications
- Ensuring compliance with planning, environmental, and statutory requirements
- Supporting acquisition due diligence and providing input into feasibility assessments
- Working closely with internal teams including finance, marketing, and acquisitions
- Mentoring junior team members and contributing to a high-performing team culture

To be successful, you will have:
- A degree in Property Development, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field
- Proven experience in land development or property project management
- Strong understanding of the full development lifecycle from acquisition to delivery
- Experience managing project budgets, feasibilities, and financial performance
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities
- A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with strong attention to detail
- Leadership capability with the ability to mentor and support junior team members
